Cell Station
Cell Station
A game made for the Gamedev.tv Jam 2025
Developed by: Rafael Mendoza & Richard Oates
Deep inside a human body, a lone heroic neuron manages a bustling micro-world of biology in chaos! While the human blithely jogs, naps, or catches a cold, you are the real MVP — coordinating cells, crafting vital compounds, and scrambling to keep the body alive and kicking.
In this frantic, Overcooked-inspired 2D game, you'll:
-
Collect and combine basic resources like oxygen, water, and amino acids.
Break down carbs into glucose
-
Craft intermediate materials like proteins and fats.
-
Assemble advanced biological products like muscle, antibodies, and skin to meet the body’s ever-changing needs.
Every level is based on a different real-life human activity, from resting to weightlifting to recovering from a cold. The stakes are microscopic... but the pressure is massive!
A thankless job? Maybe.
A vital one? Absolutely.
