A game made for the Gamedev.tv Jam 2025

Use keyboard or controller to move the little guy around. Space or xbox button  A to pick up and put down resources (Make sure you're facing the resource or it won't pick up)

We used free art by https://snowhex.itch.io/ for the environment tiles. Resource art from other free sources. We know the style doesn't all quite match but we did what we could. If any artists would be interested in creating assets for this game, or teaming up in the future for other projects, get in touch!

• Dash movement
• Waste build up and removal
• Animations for resource delivery
• Story in level select relating to different human activities
• Star level rating
• Save progress
• Pause menu
• Mobile controls

Game description:

Deep inside a human body, a lone heroic neuron manages a bustling micro-world of biology in chaos! While the human blithely jogs, naps, or catches a cold, you are the real MVP — coordinating cells, crafting vital compounds, and scrambling to keep the body alive and kicking.

In this frantic, Overcooked-inspired 2D game, you'll:

• Collect and combine basic resources like oxygen, water, and amino acids.

• Break down carbs into glucose

• Craft intermediate materials like proteins and fats.

• Assemble advanced biological products like muscle, antibodies, and skin to meet the body’s ever-changing needs.

Every level is based on a different real-life human activity, from resting to weightlifting to recovering from a cold. The stakes are microscopic... but the pressure is massive!

A thankless job? Maybe.
A vital one? Absolutely.
